My name is Danielle Parnes and I am a Junior at Clemson University majoring in Biology with a minor in Social Sciences. My interest in JUF’s volunteer opportunities and separately, the debate team at my school, have played a vital role in how I practice my faith and push myself to think more deeply. My interests in Genetics and the Medical field make the Sarnoff Center the perfect place for me to gain clinical experience, public health knowledge, and to hone my interest in this field. In my free time, I like to read, go to the gym, and find new restaurants.
Post-graduation, I really want to go to medical school to become a geneticist or to involve myself in some type of medical genetics research/practice. The Sarnoff Center gives me the connections and community to learn what I want in a career as well as how to achieve it. I am so excited for the outreach and work I am going to complete, and I am honored to be involved with such an amazing organization.
